Your Fantasy Football Drafting Style Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Every fantasy league has many different personalities. There's always "the expert", "the veteran", "the newbie", "the slowbie", etc. Have you ever wondered what it is that makes your league mates who they are? Let's consult the stars and see how your zodiac sign might dictate your fantasy football drafting style.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

The Ram. You want to be the expert. You’re bold and ambitious. You love to win. You also like to troll your league mates. Calling out picks with snarky remarks. Picking up your league mate’s favorite player, just because. Consistently calling Bryan, Ryan, for the lolz. While you are the king/queen of trash talk, you’re also funny and that’s your saving grace among your league mates.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

The Bull. You’re a breath of fresh air. It’s a stark contrast to the usual over-the-top competitive vibe during a draft. The trades you offer are fair and you always like to explain why you turn down a trade. You have a positivity about you that causes your league mates to wonder if you’re really that nice or if you’re making room to sneak in and snipe the next pick. Always keep them guessing, Taurus.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

The Twins. Appropriately named, you’re a multi-tasker. For better or worse, you’re the one simultaneously eating, texting, tweeting, and drafting. Here’s the kicker, you’re either amazing at it or you’re terrible at it. There is no grey area. The jury is still out on this drafting style. Perhaps this is your way of distracting your league mates during the draft or maybe you’re just that bored.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

The Crab. You’re the master at reading a room. You’re highly intuitive and have a way of feeding off of your league mate’s energies. You’re likely to have a very balanced team, as the trades you offer and are offered are fair. Your picks aren’t controversial and might even be somewhat predictable, but that’s part of how you succeed within your league.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

The Lion. You’ve been around. You’re a Fantasy Football veteran player and demand to be respected as such. You’re passionate about your draft strategy and make sure that everyone knows it. You might come across as a little arrogant to some, but most of your league mates know that you know your stuff and you know how to win.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

Virgo is known to be logical, practical, and well… a bit of a perfectionist. Your analytics are on point and people come to you for Fantasy Football drafting advice. You love a good mock draft and will practice again and again to gain an ideal assessment of the results. You’re sure to be ready and will approach your draft with an array of different strategies.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Easy going and sociable, you’re a veteran of many leagues. Your drafts are balanced, as that’s something a Libra is often obsessed with. Your goal is to create symmetry and harmony within your team. The “Zero RB” strategy is not for you! Because of your experience and the well-thought-out balance of your team, you’re a contender baby!

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

Scorpio is one of the most loyal signs of the zodiac. You wear your heart on the sleeve of your jersey. You’re sure to pick at least one of your favorite players, not because they’re a winner, but because they’re your favorite! Your team name probably coordinates with your favorite NFL team or it’s just been your team name. Either way, you’re a sentimental and passionate player.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

The archer, always on the hunt for more knowledge. You read blogs, listen to pods, and follow the community closely on Twitter to stay on top of the latest team news and drafting trends. You’re likely to run the “Zero RB” strat on at least one of your teams. You’re a collector of sleepers and a hoarder of backup players. Is your strategy successful? Your league mates gave it mixed reviews.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

You love the acknowledgment of a job well done, but do not want to be the center of attention. That trophy? It’s not for you. You just want the satisfaction of being in the top three and getting your entry fee back. Being a contender brings the respect you crave, but not all of the admiration that goes with being number one. More than mediocre. That’s your strategy.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

Aquarius is the most humanitarian sign and likely the most mysterious. You’re quiet during the draft. Your league mates wonder if you’re even logged in and then BAM your random round 6 pick causes the chat to light up! You’re a strong competitor with wins under your belt, but you don’t brag about it. Your competition won’t even know who you are until they’ve lost the matchup.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

The two fish swimming in opposite directions represents the ongoing division of your attention between fantasy and reality. On one hand, you’re convinced that the rookie of the week will be the next big thing. On the other hand, you’re planning to draft that veteran player on a one-year deal as your sleeper move. You think everything is a sign and do your best to follow the clues, but at the end of the season, your split strategy usually doesn’t pay off.
